Pretty Little Chevron...

Happy Wednesday my loves!!

I hope everyone is off to a great start.

Today is pretty bittersweet for me because my bestie is leaving to return home. She's only able to visit once a year so we've been taking full advantage of our short time together. Just in case you weren't able to see the fun we had last time she was here, I will be sure to do a recap in the upcoming days so you can see what a beauty she is.

While she was here, we did  manage to get some outfit pics in....

I'm all about some pretty little chevron.....

Put the print on a cute, ruffled shoulder romper and I'm head over heels in love!

That is...until I'm buckling at the knees because I have to use the bathroom and I can't get the danggone romper down fast enough!! LOL

I scored this cute one piece last season from TJ Maxx. I rarely ever shop there because I don't really find tons of great deals there but on this particular trip I hit the jackpot-BIG TIME! It was so lonely on the clearance rack so for 7 bucks I figured that I would give it a permanent home in my closet.

Adding these highlighter yellow Prabal Gurung sandals gave the 'fit just the right amount of 'snap' without going too over the top.

Needless to say, I really dig the navy blue and bright yellow together.

What do you ladies think?

What's your favorite color to pair with navy blue?

I can't wait to hear from you.
Thanks for reading.

I also entered this look into this weeks #maxxinista contest sponsored by TJMaxx. If you could take a moment to vote for me here, I would greatly appreciate it!

  1. Great score on the romper! I know you were stoked since you don't shop there. The yellow accessories were a perfect match with it. :-)

  3. Cute romper! I love the pattern and ruffles. The yellow looks great! What do I pair with navy? Hot pink, purple, red,...I kinda treat it as a neutral.

  6. Haha! That is true with rompers always such a hassle when you need to go to the bathroom, which is why I rarely use them. But still,, who can resist when it's THIS gorgeous??

Glad to have found your blog via the linkup. I'd love for you to come over by blog too and leave your thoughts on my latest post: www.fashchronicles.blogspot.com
