How To Wear: Wide Leg Jeans

Hello and Happy Wednesday my loves.

I hope everyone is off to a great start thus far. It has been painstakingly hot in my area this week so I've been stuck in the house for the most part-and I'm totally fine with soaking up this air.

I'm a day late with posting but I just wanted to drop by with the 4th and final installment of my 'How To Wear Jeans' series. If you missed any of the other segments, you can view them here, here, and here.

This week, I'm discussing wide leg jeans. Since skinny leg and boyfriend denim came along, I haven't seen much of this style. However, I swoon everytime I see someone rocking them. My favorites include Christie and Cortnie-they seem to have this style mastered to a tee!

The key to rocking this style is to pair your denim with a platform or wedge high enough that allows just a small amount of the hem to graze the floor. It definitely gives off a better look when a majority of the shoe is covered up; high watered wide legs are just not flattering-at all!!! On the other hand, flats are a definite no-no with wide legs. Because the inseam of wide leg denim measures a little longer than normal styles, wearing flats with them allows too much of the hem to skim the floor causing unnecessary fraying and tearing.

There's something so sleek about a wide leg and I can't wait for some slightly cooler weather so that I can rock mine in comfort. Hello Fall!!!

What's your favorite way to style wide leg denim?

I can't wait to hear from you.
Until then, thanks for reading!
XOXOXOXO

  2. Thanks for the mention! I agree, wide legs look great with a heel. I can't believe I own jeans that I can't wear UNLESS I have heels on lol. Tis necessary!
