Sometimes I just need to get away. Escape from the world for a minute or two. I would love to escape to LA but for today, I will settle and visit the park.
Pretend that I am walking the streets of Melrose Ave with my bestest girlfriends. Imagine that I was married to the man of my dreams and we lived somewhere over the Hollywood Hills. Wish that I was the hottest fashion stylist in Los Angeles.
Ok...Ok...I'm back now!
Life's issues are a bit much at times-whether it be dealing with a breakup, losing a loved one, or dismissing someone you thought of as a friend-sometimes you just need to get away from reality. Create your own never never land, ya know. Learning to deal with the reality of horrible situations that happen in your life can indefinitely leave you at a loss. We stay in denial and run away from giant issues because we feel as if running will somehow make them just go away. True enough we need our 'moments' to get away and clear our heads but trust, those same issues will be right there to smack you in the face when you return.

SIDENOTE: These khakis were thrifted by my mother. She gave them to me-2 sizes too HUGE! So I turned them into 'boyfriend khakis'!! What do ya think?

How do you deal with life's overwhelming issues?

Ohhh Shana...it would be something different for you to throw on some khakis. You're always so glammed up. And yeah mama is pretty stylish however when she saw these she immediately said they were too big!! LOL

Getting away is necessary for balance. I wish I could come to LA for a get-a-way. It's so breezy and relaxing. I really love those sandals and accessories.

Hi I really like your blog content! However I just think it's a little hard for your viewers to read your posts with the funky (but undoubtedly cute!) font. Again, I really like your posts, it'd just be easier to read with a simpler font :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE this khaki look! You make them look anything but boring : )
ReplyDeleteOk, I love this look....I totally have kakhis I forgot about...and I love those shoes! I NEED to get away...very soon...very soon...Your mama did a good job, if they were tight they wouldn't have fit like that! Love

OMG!! I was stalking these shoes. A little girl who appeared to be no more than 10 had them in her hand. I knew for sure that her mom wasnt gonna buy them for her so I watched very carefully from afar...as soon as she put them back on the rack I scooped them up like nobody's business!! Lol
