Happy Monday loves...
I hope everyone had a fabulous weekend. Mine was more than amazing-I spent the whole weekend with my best friend who came into town. She comes to visit every year and each year is better than the last. I love her sooo much and though I hate to see her leave, I know that she has a family to care for. I'm so selfish with her. And I don't even feel bad about it-nope not one bit. We all have those kind of friends, the ones that you don't want to share with anyone else. Yep, that's her!
Anyhow, it's Savin' Maven Monday so I wanted to share with you some of the great deals I found over the weekend.
You should all know by now that Target is my absolute favorite store when it comes to cute (and affordable) clothing, shoes, and even things for my home. They are my one-stop shop. I even buy my wine from Target. This is just one example of the reason why I'm unable to keep myself away from that place...
A 50% off shoe sale has never been easy for me to pass up. Soooo, I purchased these! I've had my eye on them since the first day they put them out. They came in this adorable baby blue-esque color and also a royal blue. Since I already own royal blue shoes, I decided to go with this color...
Target-$14.98 |
Bright colors are really in this season so I had to have these as well. The bow on top just took it there for me. Being that I don't own spring like shoes in this shade, why not!?
Plato's-$12 |
My last stop for the weekend was at New York & Company. I usually shop there only once a month because they have really great coupons but I skipped the month of April. When I last shopped there in March, I told the cashier that I was going to take a break for the month of April and she didn't believe me. That's so sad. Just so happens that the same cashier waited on me this month. She was so proud of me! Hell, I'm so proud of me! Since I had $15 worth of 'City Cash' to use I was able to score this beauty for $17! It was originally $64 so I saved approximately $47. It looks much better in person but I love the colors and the pattern. I also love that I can wear both of the above mentioned shoes with it to create two different looks. That $17 was very well spent.

Did you come across any great deals this weekend?
Do share...
PS: I'm thinking of hosting a linky party so that you all can link up the great deals you found over the weekend. How does that sound? Would you guys participate?
XOXOXO
Love those purple bow pumps! Great deal!
ReplyDeleteYes. They were only $12! Can't wait to wear them!
DeleteCute finds! Love that piece from Ny&Co. I am just looking through their "The City" mag and I'm drooling over some of the pieces.
ReplyDeleteI would be down for a link up!
I just saw their new 'mag' and I can't wait to go back in there!
DeletePlease be sure to capture a photo when you style in both of those!!
ReplyDeleteI will be sure to do so...without a problem.
DeleteI adore the blue shoes. I don't wear closed-toe or even peep-toe since they tend to hurt my feet, so I always opt for open-toe, including when I'm wearing stockings!
ReplyDeleteThanks for your thoughtful comments. Aha! I just "lost" a male friend who has been like my older brother to me since college. Last year he married a girl 12 years younger and at first I thought it won't change a thing since many of my friends got married and their spouses became our friends, as well. But it seems perhaps because of the age difference, we have nothing to talk about with his wife, so whenever we meet it's kind of awkward. Sigh. I guess I won't be meeting him as often as before he got married. At least I heard that as we grow older, age difference won't matter anymore, so I'm waiting for the day when me, him, his wife, and my hubby can hang out together without awkward silence!
Please visit again soon. :)
