Valentine's Day Gift Guide: For Him

Hello and Happy Tuesday my loves.

I know the day is about over but I wanted to post anyways-having a newborn has my schedule all thrown off therefore I just post when I can. Gone are the days when I continuously beat myself up about not posting at a certain time of the day, 3-4 days a week.  It's my blog and I make the rules; which means I'll post when the mood strikes-even if it's past normal business/blogging hours.

I can't believe that Valentine's Day is right around the corner y'all! I mean, didn't the new year just begin!?

Valentine's Day happens to be one of my most favored holidays. I love love and the opportunity to celebrate it. Most of all I love the aspect of giving my special someone, something special. Any opportunity to shop is my kinda day!!!

So what do you get your man this year? Especially when he already has everything. Here are a few practical and inexpensive gifts that any man would enjoy-even if he does have everything-on Cupid's day.
Valentine's Day Guift Guide: For Him

A SWISS ARMY KNIFE will get him out of a jam in a flash. It can open beer and/or wine bottles when he's hanging out with the fellas for All Star night and it's easy accessibility provides convenience for the man on the go.

The TOOL KIT...what man doesn't need a tool kit? This one speaks for itself because it can benefit you as well. Remember that broken hinge on the door? Yeah ladies, this is possibly the best gift on the list.

A UNIVERSAL REMOTE will easily provide comfort and quietness within the home on those days when PMS has gotten the best of you.

The CHARGING STATION is perfect for the tech savvy guy. He can charge all of his gadgets at once with this and can furthermore stop using the excuse that his phone was dead when you attempted to contact him to remind him of the eggs you needed from the grocery store.

Lastly, the ELECTRIC SHAVER will keep him looking and feeling his best. Because after all, who wants an unkempt man?

I hope this list provided you with some new and exciting ideas that you hadn't already thought of. I love compiling lists like this because it makes it that much easier for me to shop for gifts. Please come back and visit the blog tomorrow as I will be teaming up with Target again to discuss love and offer one of you a $25 gift card that will help lower the cost of your Valentine's Day shopping bill.

Have anything else to add to list?
Lemme know in the comments below...

Trendy Tuesday: Valentine's Day Gift Ideas For Him

Happy Tuesday my loves.

As you know Valentine's Day is soon approaching. That means lots of chocolate, sparkly baubles, and sexy smell goods. I'm going to stray away from creating a wish list this year as our gifts generally tend to stay the same year end and year out.

For ages, V-Day has generally been a female holiday; the one day out of the year when we get pampered to the fullest extent without the expectation of anything in return. The day when flattering gestures the norm and love truly becomes more than just a noun. At least for us ladies.

With that being said, I'm going to go out on a limb here and share with you some ways and ideas to make this Valentine's Day special for the man in your life as well. Granted, not alot of men are as sentimental as we can be, but I promise that your man won't mind knowing that he too is appreciated on this 'day of Valentine'!!

Here goes nothing...

Love Coupons-create your very own coupon book to include a Free home cooked meal, a hot oil massage, and/or a night of fully loaded intimacy. Feel free to get as creative and naughty as you would like.

Love Letters-prepare a hand written love note for him expressing your undying love for him. Earn extra 'brownie points' for reading it aloud to him.

Sexy Texts-send him sexy texts-all day long-describing the night you plan to have with him. Make sure that the texts are 'work proof' just in case he has nosey coworkers.

Special Delivery-instead of sending flowers and/or candy to his job, send him tickets to his favorite sporting event or music concert.

What kind of things are you thinking of doing for your special someone?

I can't wait to hear from you!

Thanks for reading.
XOXOXOXO

Also, don't forget to link up and share your Valentine's Day love stories, crafts, dating tips, etc. right here on the blog starting at 12:00AM EST on February 1 for the 'Lover's Lane' Blog Hop. And if you can't catch it then, don't fret, it will be open ALL MONTH LONG!

Trendy Tuesday: Holiday Wish List

Hello Tuesday!!

I hope each of you have enjoyed your day thus far. I've been catching up on schoolwork, preparing for finals and such, hence the reason I'm posting sooooo late today.

Seeing that another major holiday is right around the corner, I figured that I should get my wish list together so that I could pass it around to all of my friends and family.  I wanted to limit my list to 10 items but once I began I got carried away so this is essentially what I came up with.

Holiday Wish List 2012

I really couldn't tell you which one of these items I have more of an affinity for. I want all of them equally-especially the camo jacket, the Kindle fire, ahhhh that tulle skirt, the monogrammed necklace, polka dot sweater, AND those Jordans for those days when I want to dress down. I can't forget the journal, the pretty teal Michael Kors watch and the DVR for recording all of my favorite shows; the new red frames, the Flowerbomb perfume, leather glasses, and of course the Target gift card, how could I ever forget that!?

LOLOLOL!!!

What's on your holiday wish list?
I can't wait to hear from you.

Thanks for reading!
XOXOXOXO

WOTS: Holiday Shopping-The Girlfriends' Edition

I love shopping for my girlfriends...

This is an easy task. What female doesn't appreciate being pampered?

This year, treat your girls to a personalized pampering set.

Depending on your spending limits, you can go with something expensive...

Like these lovely baskets:

Classic Spa Gift Basket

Relaxation Therapy Gift Basket

Orrrrr.....

You can be a Thrifty and Shameless frugalista like me and make something at home. You can put anything in the basket, so long as it is centered around the theme of being 'pampered'. I guarantee that it will be put to good use.

Because again, what woman doesn't appreciate being pampered?

Here are some of my favorite 'at home' basket creations:

Pampering Basket-ForTheMommas
Pampering Basket-MashUpMom

The great thing about these baskets is that they are totally universal. You can make them for whomever you like-even your pets...

Like this one:

Pooch Pampering Basket-Pawtisseri
I don't have pets, but I thought the Pooch Basket was beyond adorable.

What will you put in your pampering basket?

Do share...

WOTS: Holiday Shopping-The Boo Thang Edition

Each year I always have the hardest time trying to decide what to get my boo thang.  Time and time again I find myself questioning how I'm going to outdo what I did last year. Some people base their gift buying on the amount of time that they've been with their significant other but I say to hell with doing all of those calculations-I just try to purchase something that the boo is going to like.

Assuming that all of my readers aren't of the female species, I will make a list of gifts that would work well for both sexes.

Let's get it:
1. Aromas/Scents/Smell Goods: This is always first on my list of gifts to give. I loves me a good smelling man. I mean I get totally weak when J is wearing my favorite scent. I just can't take it-it makes me wanna instantly give up the goods!! I don't know of too many men who wouldn't appreciate a good smelling woman either.

    Acqua Di Gio by Armani

    Daisy by Marc Jacobs

2. Nerdy Toys: whether it be in the form of a game, smart phone, camera, or computer gadget-technology is always going to be put to good use. With these types of gifts you don't ever have to question whether or not your money was wasted.

    Kindle Fire

    XBox 360 Kinect

    3. Wrist Candy-this is another one of those timeless gifts that are never a waste of money. Watches are both functional and stylish. Can we say Micheal Kors!!!

    Micheal Kors Blackout
    Micheal Kors Runway Double Blitz

What are your top suggestions for this year?
